SCIENCE EXPERIMENT Experiment Date: 20 May 2015 Popcorn In Water
Equipment/materials
(what were ALL the things you used to conduct the experiment?):
Popping corn seeds Large plastic bottle, Water, Dry table
Hypothesis (what was the prediction you made BEFORE you started doing anything?):
I thought that 9 seeds will go in then a drop of water will fall.
Steps taken (list as much detail as you can):
Filled the large container with water.
Add popcorn seeds.
Count them as you put them in.
Stop when a drop from the water falls
Result (what actually happened, and was it the same as, or different from your prediction?) :
A drop of water fell when it came up to 90 popcorns (different prediction.)
Conclusion (what did you learn from the experiment?):
Water Molecules If you fill something right up you will see a bubble on the top. Those are water molecules holding each other. But when they can’t any more they let go and a drop of water falls.

This is my science experiment that we did with Sally from Water care. We did lots of cool
experiments. This is one of them.
