Why I Think You Should Come To School
Theres a girl in our class who is certain to pass,
for she’s the cleverest girl in our class,
there's a girl in our class
who has only to look a minute or two...
at an exercise book.
Yes! she’s certain to pass,
for she’s the cleverest girl in our class.
Now why do you think that this is the case
this girl in our class who’s always first place?
Well maybe she came to school with a positive behavior for learning, read all her books and did all her homework.
So all you children who sit at home and don’t want to come to school here’s a piece of my mind to make you change your mind about coming to school.
I strongly believe everybody should come to school everyday because…
At school, we learn to read, write and do maths and more.
Imagine if you didn't know how to read a very important sign? You’ll struggle and find it difficult. You’ll think “ oh why didn’t I go to school I would have learnt how to read!”. You do not want to think that do you? You’d want to think “oh thank goodness I went to school I learnt how to read”.
Maths will help you work out how much change you need to get when you buy something and it will help you do other things too! Learning how to write is great because you can make the world a better place just by writing interesting stories.
Have you ever dreamt about getting a good job like an air hostess or a doctor or even a scientist ?
If you come to school you will be able to become what you want to be when you grow up. Nelson Mandela also said “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.” School will take you on a trip around the big world of knowledge. This trip will help you make your dreams come true. Just imagine if you sat at home the whole day doing absolutely nothing , you don’t want to be like that.
All those children who think school is boring, dull and uninteresting you will have less advantages than the children who come to school.
Look at it this way!
Everyone in this world have different learning abilities. Some of us learn by listening, others learn by watching, and a few might learn hands on. There are also fast learners and slow learners. But being slow doesn't mean you should be discouraged. The child who’s interested in coming to school will have more chances in life, but those who choose that school is not for them won’t be able to help his or herself or others.
Everybody has a right to have an education so you should use that chance to make a successful life. Parents! remember that the best gift you could ever give your child in life is education. School is the basic foundation of knowledge. So come to school to have a better future.
