3D Modling

We a few weeks ago we got a 3D printer. So today we were making a 3D design using build with chrome. I Made a house. Hear are some pictures from different perspectives of my house.

Chapter 13 - Expariment

Experiment With Sally

As I entered the classroom I noticed on the whiteboard in bright, green, bold writing the magnificent SALLY WAS COMING!,  I jumped with joy and excitement. Sally came into our extraordinary class to do a experiment with us. She told us to get into a group of four so me Victoria, Sophia and Daniel became a group. Each of us had  a number, I was lucky number two.

I had to bring the cup with the water and yellow food colouring to mix it. It had no salt in it and it was as yellow as an egg yolk. Next Ashley got the one with red food coloring in. It was as red as blood. It had one teaspoon of salt in it. The red food colouring did not mix as fast as the yellow food coloring. It’s because the water was more denser with the salt. Next Daniel brought the one with blue food colouring. It was as blue as the ocean. It had two teaspoons of salt, that meant that the water was really dense and the blue would not mix.

Next we got some tubes. Sophia was first at using them. She took one and put it into the yellow one and then covered the other end with her thumb. She did the same with all colours. The colours did not mix with each other when she held it straight, but when she put it sideways it turned into a yucky brown. We all had turns mixing colours together. I mixed blue and red to make a fantastic purple. Then I mixed blue and yellow to make a wonderful green. Then I mixed red and yellow to make incredible orange. My tube turned into a magical rainbow. I thought that the experiment that we did  was great.

Chapter 12 - Holidays

Buddy In The Holidays

“Wow! look at all the birds.” I said in amazement. They were so many Ducks, Goose and black swans at Western Springs. I looked around and saw some cute baby ducklings. They were very fluffy and lemon yellow. We went walking down the path and saw some cool rivers. We fed the birds lots of yummy bread. But as soon as my packet of bread got finished all the birds looked at me. The birds were not cute any more they were scary monsters. I quickly turned around and ran away, but the annoying birds kept following me. As I ran I saw a path going straight and one going left. I went left and the birds did not see me and thought I went straight so they ran off. I found Aunty Sue and we went to the park. It was really fun. There was a cool swing and this spinning ride that you can sit on. Soon we were hungry so we found a nice, sunny, warm place to have a picnic. We had yummy chicken sandwiches and tasty mango juice and a wonderful chocolate cake. I was stuffed but I saved a very tiny place in my stomach for Ice Cream later on. We realised that it was getting late so we came home for some time to relax. I jumped onto the sofa and fell into a deep sleep. When I woke up It was time for dinner. Aunty had made yummy BBQ chops and mashed potato. “MMMMMMMM this is delicious” I said with my mouth full of mashed potato. Later on that night we had ice cream. It was my favourite flavour      “Peaches and cream”. Soon it was time for bed. I was really tired even though I had a long nap. I am never ever ever going to change my mind about not going to western springs again. I had nightmares about the birds at Western Springs chasing me around.

Chapter 11 - Day 3 At School

Day 3 At May Road School

As soon as I came to school I read the time table. First a guy from ASB bank was going to come and teach us about being wise with money. It was really fun and exciting. Next Mr Tech came to teach us how to make a Thank you comic for the school who did the production. Then it was morning tea. I played with all my new friends. They names are Jumaanah, Rocksana and Sophia. Soon it was time to go back to class. We were finishing off our comics. After that we were putting our best dressed buddy on a piece of paper with their name on it. My one is on a green paper with her name written fancy. After a while off work the choir had to go to practices. So it was just a few people left in class. We carried on with our work and then it was lunch. Long after the bell was gone we were in class writing our buddy story. Mine is really going well. After a few minutes of hard work we cleaned up the mess that was made. Next we sat on the mat and we were told to go home. I rushed home and  before Aunty could say hello I was telling her all about my wonderful day. She said I could at least say hello before bursting into my stories. I apologised and said hello. After dinner I did my homework and went to sleep in my warm and soft bed.

Chapter 10 - Day 2 At School

I woke up and did not waste time to get ready, and soon I was saying goodbye and leaving the house. I finally arrived at  school with happiness and excitement. I wonder what we’ll be doing today. I hope we do more art. I ran up the stairs and I rushed into class.

“ Good morning  Miss Featherpin” I said

“ Hello Jazzmeet, how are you today?” She replied

“ I’m feeling great” I said

“ Well that’s good” She replied

“ Here is your chromebook and charger. Please take care of it” She said with a smile.

“ Thank you” I said. I took my chromebook from her hands and put it my desk.  After the bell rang the teacher took the roll and we got straight into writing about our buddy. My buddys name is Jazmin just like my mum. Right now it’s her first day at school. I was excited about going to another school to see a production. It was soooo cool. It was about world war 1 and 2. I loved it. When we came back it was nearly home time. The day went so fast. We packed up the classroom and soon  Miss Featherpin let us go home. I told Aunty and Grandma all about my cool day at school. Now it’s time for bed. “ Yawn”

Chapter 9 - First Day At School

My First Day At May Road School

As we entered the school office a kind lady came up to us. I thought that she was the office lady her name was Miss Witherspoon. She said that I was going to a class called Smarties. I think they named that class that because they have a lot of smart children? I thought. The Teacher that I will have is Miss Featherpin. I wonder what class my neighbor Jumaanah is in? I hope she’s in my class.

We went down a few corridors and up some stairs. There were two classes, which one was mine? I thought to myself. Finally I saw a arrow sign saying “ Smarties.” The arrow was pointing to the class on my right. I was so nervous. My heart was beating faster than a cheetah. I had butterflies in my stomach. I saw lots of kids in the class room. Miss Witherspoon told me to hang up my bag over there.

After a few minutes the bell rang. “ BB RRRRR IIIII NN GG!!!!”  That was loud. Soon all the noise of the children talking disappeared and it was complete silence. Everyone was looking at me like I was some sort of alien. I sat down right at the back and waited for the teacher like everyone else. Soon Miss Fetherpin came along. “ Good Morning class” she said in a sweet voice. Everyone replied like this “ Good morning Miss Featherpin”  Miss Featherpin introduced me to the class and gave me a buddy that would show me around.

“ Woo Hoo my buddy is Jumaanah” I thought to myself. I finally found out what we were going to do it  was art day.  I was so excited. I don’t feel nervous anymore. I think I will do good in this class. For the whole day block we were making our dioramas. Dioramas is a model representing a scene. Mine is a bedroom. I used different materials to make a bed and curtains. I made a wardrobe as well. At the end of the day we all had a diorama. Miss Featherpin hung them up on the big long beam. I made a lot of new friends at morning tea and lunch. Soon the bell rang for hometime.

Chapter 8 - Coming To School

Coming To School

As Grandma, Aunty and I walked through the school gates and entered the office I had a big flashback on the drama that happened this morning. It all started when I heard my annoying alarm clock. BEEEP! BEEEP! BEEEP! Everything was going fine and I thought that we would be on time. But I thought too soon.

I found Grandma and Aunty sleeping peacefully. I woke them up and we headed outside.

Then Grandma had forgotten to pack me a lunch. So then Grandma said she would come to school later on and give me my lunch. But then I realized that I did not take my thing I needed for school and most importantly I did not have a school bag. We rushed to a store called “ The Warehouse” and got a school bag. I chose the bag with the blue and pink checks.  So finally we drove of to school. Plus we were on time.
